How to Choose the Right Bed for Your Dog

Dogs sleep twelve to fourteen hours a day, so the bed matters more than any other thing they own. The right one depends on how your dog sleeps, not just how big they are.

Watch your dog sleep for a week. They will tell you which bed they need.

Here is how we match beds to sleeping styles in the boutique.

  • Curlers: a round bolster bed with high sides
  • Stretchers: a large flat mattress
  • Seniors: memory foam at least 10 cm thick
  • Hot sleepers: linen or a cooling mat
  • Chewers: a frame with rounded, solid edges

Choose removable, washable covers and a bed a little bigger than you think. Your dog will use every centimetre.
